Tywin is so great because he is actually cunning. His one character flaw of hating his only child who actually inherited his impressive intellect is what gets him killed. What poetry

Book Euron:

- Literally a Lovecraftian Warlock Pirate seeking godhood.
- Has sailed to Asshai, Stygai, and beyond learning the deepest secrets of forbidden dark magic.
- Captain of a ship full of men who’s tongue’s he’s cut out with corpses lashed to the bow.
- A powerful warg who skin changes into/controls other people.
- Murdered/sexually abused his brothers and pissed in the sea to defy the drowned god.
- Has a sick eyepatch which conceals an otherworldly blood-red eye that symbolizes his power and all the terrible things he’s seen/done.
- Habitually uses and abuses powerful hallucinogens because “there is more truth in them”.
- Was looked over by the three-eyed raven because he was too sadistic and evil.
- Determined to usher in a blood red ocean, kraken fuelled apocalypse.

Overall, arguably the most terrifying character in a series absolutely full of evil, degenerate, psychopathic monsters.

There is also one funny/tragic thing about Alliser Thorne - he was sent to the Wall because he was a Targaryen supporter and there he became an antagonist for Jon(who was a Targaryen). Nice story Martin, twisted as always :)

Tywin hands down. A menace in every bit of screen time he had and the most important of all - died before D&D could butcher him

The Night King is just ridiculous. No truth, no character, just a cartoon denouement...I mean, really, his death destroys his entire army?

I remember the "Lord of Bones" said to Ygritte something like "What would Mance want with a dead traitor's bastard?", and then I was thinking "ok, it's plausible that he's heard of Ned Stark, but how in the hell would he know that he was labeled a 'traitor' to the crown in a city over a thousand miles away and that they executed him?" when the only mode of communication are ravens.

The funny thing about pycelle is that I think Joffrey actually really likes him. The only person he treats better than Pycelle is Robert Baratheon.
