This series is just beyond useful. Having most people just show you 10 moves and say " white should be slightly better" and leaving it there is beyond frustrating. I never know what to do in the resulting middlegames!

I own both your London and Caro-Kann courses (with videos), and i'm following your guidance in approach for low rated players. Enjoying your chessable courses which really go nicely along with your youtube videos. Very good value and fun to work with. I like your focus on principles and the focus on lower rated games. I haven't looked at your Jovaba London yet. I feel I've still got a lot of work to do with London before switching to Jovaba London.

As always it was an incredible video. Your explanations are really clear and simple and you're very funny. Please can you do a chessable course on the king's indian covering all the lines like the caro it'll be insane.

I just had an interesting idea: At 5:15 you play king to h1! This move willingly accepts doubled pawns after ...Nxf3, but opens the crucial g-file.

White can then capitalize by placing the rook on g1, establishing firm control over the newly exposed line. After White's next move Qd2, three pieces (both bishops and the rook) bear down on White's kingside.

Love the Excalibur knight! I often play that move but I don't support the knight the way I should. Thanks for explaining the role it plays there!

Years in the making, I've finally cracked 1500 rapid. Thanks Alex; your Caro Kann and London courses had a big impact and I'll pick up your Jobava London when it drops and any anti-e4 opening for black.
