Crispy Fish Platter
Ingredients for fish marination:
Boneless fish (Mali) 1 kg
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 ½ tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
Ingredients for Dry Batter:
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for Crispy Fried Fish:
Marinated fish
Dry batter
Water (chilled) as required
Oil (for deep frying) as required
Ingredients for beans salad:
Red beans (boiled) 1 cup
White chickpeas (boiled) 1 cup
Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
Capsicum (finely chopped) 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Chaat masala 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Ingredients for masala rice:
Oil 3 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 2 tbsp
Capsicum (chopped) 1/4 cup
Carrots (chopped) 1/4 cup
Boiled rice 2 cups
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
Food color (orange) 3-4 tbsp
Ingredients for fish dipping:
Ice water flour
Directions for Fish Marination:
1. In a bowl add fish, lemon juice, red chili powder, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper, and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
Directions for Dry Batter Preparation:
2. In a bowl add flour, garlic powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well.
Directions for Crispy Fried Fish Preparation:
3. Take marinated fish and coat it well in dry batter. Now dip it in chilled water for 2 seconds and coat it again in dry batter.
4. Now deep fry it until crispy and fully cooked. Your crispy fried fish is ready.
Directions for Bean Salad Preparation:
1- In a bowl add red beans, white chickpeas, onion, capsicum, lemon juice, and chat masala and mix it well.
2- Your bean salad is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Masala Rice Preparation:
1- In a wok, heat oil and garlic and cook for a minute.
2- Now add capsicum, carrot, and stir for a minute.
3- Now add boiled rice and cook for a minute over high flame. Now add and red chili powder, salt, paprika, and garam masala, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4- Add food color and toss it well.
5- Your masala rice is ready to serve.
6- Serve it with Crispy Fried Fish and Beans Salad.
