‘breakouts are inevitable even if you have a perfect routine’ love that you brought this out! I get so annoyed sometimes and wonder if my skincare is working

“Pimple patches blend so well they’re almost invisible”... Dr. Maxfield: “Haha remember that one time you wore a pimple patch and we all made fun of you” 🤣

I cannot wait to see your hair videos. After working with a dermatology chief resident student, I was surprised to know that dermatologists are also hair experts. If you create content like that, it’ll take you to the next level! I barely see anyone making informational videos about it from a scientific perspective.

I’m so glad he mentioned buying hydrocolloid bandages and cutting them up into spot size pieces!!! That’s what I do, and it’s WAY cheaper than buying Mighty Patch. And it’s literally the same thing!

Yeah, it is definitely only the Vaseline that has made Martha Stewart age well & look good. It had nothing to do with the fact that she is hella wealthy and can afford consistent professional treatments, plastic surgery, professional lighting & photo editors to make her pictures look flawless, lol. Sorry, that cracked me up.

As an RN with a college aged daughter who loves Tik Tok, I greatly appreciate your fact-filled and thoughtful content! Thank you so much for being responsible and creative MDs…we need more like you both!

it would be really great if you could do a video on layering and mixing different products/skincare ingredients: what to do and not what to do type of video, because I’m sure many of us find it pretty confusing :)

FM doc here. Been referring my younger patients to your channel. Great content and clear delivery of your message. Thank you

I just started following you this week, and i can tell you why - you are making content that everyone wants, but that can normally feel so DRY when given from a medical perspective, or so biased when given by an influencer/random person. Instead - you are injecting it with humour and intelligence, and people are starving for that. So - kudos, and thanks!

My mother now near 90 lightly rubs vaseline on her eyelashes lightly at bedtime and it made them grow thick ! She has been doing this since she has been young. A hack passed down from her grandma. She was a pharmacist and had so many fun Back when pharmacist actually made many medicines.

Dr.Maxfield is giving me "sitting in 9th grade english class, and we get in trouble for laughing, so we gotta try not to giggle" vibes

I have used the hydrocolloid bandages on pretty nasty road rash from a bike crash and they worked really well - no scarring or discolouration on any of the wounded areas - all of them. I had multiple 3x4" bandages overlapping each other in a few spots so it was pretty broad damage. It all healed perfectly. I recommend it all my cycling and skateboarding friends.
