y'all this mostly only works for ppl with dry/irritated skin. it's to help restore moisture within ur skin barrier. obviously it shouldn't be done on oily skin where there's no need for excess moisture. 😭 i have (seasonal) eczema and whenever it gets out of control, slugging ALWAYS works to calm it down

Slugging is definitely not for everyone and for every climate . It was a savior when my skin barrier was damaged due to retinoids, but when I tried it in the summers (hot and humid, tropical summer ) slugging broke me out, it took me weeks to get my break outs under control .

You can do the same thing with glycerine on your face and your feet. If you have crack heels or super dry areas on your face which cause inflammation sometimes, I promise it's works wonders.
