I find 1st looking at the y & x axis is (usually) best. Looking at the y-axis (x=0), we can quickly rule out 1 and 5 since the slope there is not zero. Then, for this particular example, just look at point (1, 1) to see that the answer is the 4th one.

It's easy to see that the first and last one cannot be the solutions since for any values in the x-axis and for y = 0, the slopes are undefined.

Why don’t you just look at where the line segments are zero? They are all on the line y=-x or x+y=0. Problem solved in two seconds.
