Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)

Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

you never cease to amaze me. i've been watching your videos since I was a freshman at the University of Georgia. you've gotten me through Calculus 1-3 and now you're getting me through my differential equations course. everything is ALWAYS much simpler than what teachers make it out to be. Thanks a lot!

The way you have this organized makes the entire direction field so much easier to understand. I don't even want to think about how much time I spent last night looking through textbooks for a clear example of how to draw one of these. Thank you so much!

as soon as the video finished, I looked for the like button. please accept my deep appreciation, for every single corner was adequately covered with a simple explanation. Excellent teacher!

Thank-you so much krista, that really puts my worries to rest, I even had a chance to call and talk to my calculus professor. From first impression, he seems like a really cool guy, I have a feeling that with a little preparation with your ebook, website, and his teaching style, I should be ohk with calculus in the summer, I feel that I can pass this class with
a passing grade, im aiming for an A or B. Really trying to strive:). I just need to think positive and have confidence in myself!

Awesome. This was super helpful. I had to skip class the day this was discussed to get ready for a physics test, so thank you for helping me get caught up!

How is this like the only video of sketching a solution curve on yt. Crazy.

Our teacher is usually pretty good, but over breaks he likes to give us homework over stuff we haven't learned. This is a really good explanation of something I'd never seen before today

Well I learned something that my teacher for some reason refused to teach me to make my life a living hell. Thank you so much you just saved my life.

awesome! i hope the ebook is helpful and gives you a head start on calculus this summer! i can understand why your professor doesn't allow graphing calculators... they basically do everything for you these days to the point where you can get by without really understanding much. you can definitely do it with a scientific calculator, but i would do all the homework with it too so that you get in some practice and get used to it before the test! :)

Great lecture... By the way the solution of this linear differential equation at (1, 0) is

y= 2(x+1) -4 e^(x-1)

Great and clear video! So, if the direction fields is given, how can I write the equation for it?

this is really helpful for drawing flow contour in computational fluid dynamics.
