Control + C to copy, then shift+option+command+v to paste just about anywhere (notes, doc, etc)

i just tried it, it doesn't work on google docs. maybe it once did but i tried it like 5x, control c & right click c & when i right click in a google doc it just gives me the option for paste & won't paste anything but the form recognizes a pasta happened so the undo paste shows up under the edit for safari on the top most bar of the entire screen. i tried it w/ multiple types of files. maybe b/c you have microsoft it's allowing you to do that on google docs as well? idk but it's not working like that for me

edit: what I found does work is to copy the list of items & go to text edit, then go to the edit drop menu on the top most bar & choose "Paste and Match style" (or option [alt] key / shift key / command [apple or the weird curly-cue hashtag looking thing] key / v)

Thank you so much, I truly mean it. I was worried I'd have to individually copy paste all the names of my files.

Unfortunately, this feature no longer works. In the past, when I wanted to copy and paste multiple files using the CMD+C combination and then paste with the CMD+V combination, it would directly paste the file names. I'm not talking about the file path, it would paste the names of the files directly, but now it pastes the file itself and I don't want this, damn it!

Hey- is there anyway to accomplish this on a PC, and copy the file names of photos on my iPhone into a usable list like in excel? Basically, I’m trying to verify that all photos from my iPhone have successfully transferred to my computer. When I do a basic copy paste of the DCIM file contents into a new folder in my PC, I always end up getting a different number of files when comparing the count on the iPhone to the count in the new folder. And since I’m doing like 1000+ photos, I’d like to be able to run the list from the iPhone against the list from the newly copied file on the PC to make sure all are the same…hopefully what I have said makes sense

Did not answer the question on how to do it on Mac OS. You provided Window and Google Docs only.
