I want Starships to have landing legs. It would really suck if SN15 turned out to be the last Starship to land on earth with legs.
However if SpaceX insists on eventually trying to catch a Starship they shouldn't even bother to install the current style lifting points on V2 V3 Starships as there isnt is a chance in hell that setup would work for catching a Starship. Alignment with the holes on the ship takes far too much time. The Starships will likely need a retractable version of lifting arms similar to the ones on the boosters.

Question for you, when mechazilla is catching the Starship, will it be catching it on the flaps or those hold points?

Can pleaaase someone tell me why they don't eject the satellites to the small side of the satellites . So the payload door wouldn't need to be that big.

Why make a starlink only version? Why not go for full payload bay that can be used for both starlink and other payloads?

These payload bays are a problem. It’s cleaver for starlink and all, but it’s designed exclusively for one satellite type. No way to deploy other types of payloads means the whole design ethos atm is just a bigger starlink carrier. If this is going to take cargo and people to space, the moon, and Mars like we’ve never seen before, they need to seriously rethink that payload bay

I wouldn't read much into the payload section being smaller. If this is a pathfinder there's really no reason for it to have the two additional segments. They're just modeling a new door geometry. No need to build the whole bay for that.
