Starship Flight 7: Reusing Raptor Engine & Payload Test with Starlink Simulators!

Here is the list of major upgrades for Starship's upcoming flight test.
SpaceX will reuse a Raptor engine that was used on Flight 5 and test a Starship payload deployment using Starlink simulators!

3:20 Welcome back, Ellie. I think the reason that they're deploying dummy StarLink 2 satellites is not that they don't want to risk losing the real ones, but, rather, because Starship isn't going into orbit on this flight. The satellites do have ion propulsion, but it is not sufficient to transfer a satellite into orbit unless Starship, itself, is in orbit.

Hiya Ellie! Happy new year! I very much look forward to what spacex has in store for us this year. I’m thrilled about the increased launch cadence as well as new versions and adaptations. As far as reusabilaty for the whole platform I’m skeptical. I’d be happier seeing them perfect catches of both stages and upgrade the heat shields and throw in some metered reuse. If they can pull off reuse of a whole stack, of course I’d be thrilled.
