I approve of your use of metal aftermarket scales! I have a bunch of PM2s and Para 3s, and most of them are clad in titanium, copper and brass, with about 3 in other materials. I also have a Shaman, and my plan is to put a set of those Lotus scales on it. I would prefer copper/brass/bronze, but I may get one of the custom ano jobs on it. You are a man of my own mind regarding these knives!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you be holding some Spyderco’s. Not my cup of tea but that’s what is great about knives! Many mods👍🏻 I prefer carbon fiber or AWT scales. Nice blades.

It's a Para 3, not Para Military 3. On the PM2, that's a compass rose, not a compass.

It was nice to see knives that show use, weren't prettied up for a video.

The pm2 blade is a clip point! It’s just has a low tip which honestly makes it one of the more useful clip points and the big hump to accommodate the hole throws people off and makes it not look like your standard clip point.

I’m used to the para 3 tho so the pm2 blade always looks outta proportion and stretched out to me.

Yep I have no idea why they never jumped on the button comp lock idea. I dislike the smock with its weird ergos that force your hand way back and that sharpening choil that wants to be a finger choil but the button compression lock on it is top notch

Excellent colllection! The Smock is such a gem in the lineup. Love the action on mine. I’m trying to get my hands on a mini Smock from Gecko Customz.

Great collection! I couldn’t agree more with you about the Smock button compression lock. It is great! I almost always flipper mine open. I wish I had a superior steel for mine though. I know it’s not new but I just got the Blade HQ exclusive Gayle Bradley 2 with CruWear and natural G10. I’m looking for scales that complement the rugged style. The hollow grind and thick spine remind me of the Smock actually. I also like the Kepara except it’s a bit slippery. Any scale suggestions are welcome.

I don't like extra buttons or whatever sticking out my knife so I'm glad they keep the compression lock the way it is, I think button locks are stupid

Once you dig a bit deeper into Spyderco's catalog, you'll probably be just as confused as i am about why all the mainstream models keep ending up on YouTubers "best Spydercos" lists.

Try an Advocate, Mantra, Domino, Hundred Pacer, K2, Q-ball....
