Spyderco may have made their name making sharpeners, but they’ve built a legacy on knives. So how do we narrow a Spyderco collection down to just 5 knives? For David’s needs, we’ll look at a large and small fixed blade for camping and outdoor activities, a gentleman’s knife for dressing up, and a pair of EDC folders for big and small tasks.

My first knifecentre order arrived today to the UK! After a month in customs lmao. Boker Barlow Flipper, Kizer Amicus, black Vic Bantam. Thanks for all the entertaining and informative videos over the past few years, long may they continue. Cheers!

The street beat is an underrated work knife. I read about the designers philosophy on it and it works. He put that big choil on there to make it so you can hold it with one finger and still have the use of the rest of your hand. Ive found that to be surprisingly handy when your working and in the outdoors.

Love my Chaparral, one of the best Spyderco EDC blades

I love that Chaparral. It's very often overlooked. It's my most carried Spyderco.

Been waiting for this one! Spyderco is my favorite knife company hands down. My 5 would be in no particular order: Manix 2 in 15v, Sage 5 Lighweight in Maxamet, Uk PK in Magnacut, Leafjumper in K390 and Zoomer in 20cv..

Spyderco is my favorite brand. Sometimes they are a bit odd looking, but they just work. 🔪🎸

One of my permanent 5 from Spyderco is actually a Byrd. The Raven 2 is easy to find in the mid $50 range right now, and mine came in CTS-BD1N. Still listed as BD1, but upgraded to the same steel as the base Para 3. It's a steal for that design and steel at that price. And I love how it fits my hand.

I just wanted to still mention the Shaman even though you brought it up. Thanks.

So much thought and consideration for something that doesn’t even matter and I love it.

Picking 5 is easy for me, ive done this in my head multiple times. I just can't restrict myself to their current catalog: Small Folder - Caly 3 in Super Blue, Large folder - Endura in zdp-189, Large fixed - Bradley Bowie, Small fixed - Puukko, fancy pants knife - titanium Chaparral.

I really like how Spyderco puts the Spidey hole on everything whether it needs it or not. Case in point, those fixed blades and the flipper tab one.

My favorite part of this video was pulling out the Manix 2 XL from behind the table and swapping out the Manix 2. I LOVE my Manix 2 but I can’t wait to get my hand on an XL.

I’ve been carrying a PM2 exclusively for 3 years and absolutely love it. I ordered the Manix 2 XL and the Caribbean last week! The corrosion proof Caribbean with those scales is going to be awesome and might take up pocket space over the PM2. At least, some of the time.

You got me thinking like never before when you compared all the spyderco’s! I really have never looked at the brand compared like this. I wouldn’t mind seeing more one brand comparisons. I appreciate it!
