You've just described AR, probably thinking more hard AR though.

With soft AR, which will be mainstream in 5 years, you'll be able to watch movie trailers and buy tickets when looking at posters, get public transport info by looking at bus/train stations. Facial recognition and digital tracking will pop up social network feeds of friends, which will be the big seller. No more "forgetting" people, which businesses will jump on fast, show clients you care!

Lastly don't forget digital graffiti :)

Don't u people understand that. We will be almost unable to do anything!!! Who ever thinks this is a good idea you really done think of how lazy we will get . Every one already uses tech for example cars, diggers, phones dishwashers and clothing heaters pretty much all the things that we do include technology and laziness. I'm 8 yrs old😒🙅

Me want google glass! The most awesome thing ever would be a compact strong little eye lense or glasses that make you see seperate holograms that others dont see showing texts and stuff. maybe one could have youtube! It could have a wireless earphone thing too..
