I'm 77 & in the 1950's, 60's & later, have seen numerous films envisioning what the world would look like,
in the early 21st Century? With the exception of advances in communication & medical technology, very
little of those forecasts have come true! Space travel has been hampered by excessive costs & distances,
as was 'super-sonic' aviation! Frankly, I predict 2050 will look far closer to 2023 than we imagine!

Amazing though I thought of this just recently, and was actually making a list of all the advancement in Tech comparing the 80's to present 2023. This is not far fetched, this is going to come true. I remember my grandmother in the 70's when she said to us that the men in the TV are seeing us and we should behave, so we got interested for a second and then burst out in laughter at her 'Silly thought', she actually did think we could have communicated with the people 'in the WELL LOOK WHO IS LAUGHING NOW. Bless her soul.

As much as I am an avid tech interestee, and I beleive in tech, I really beleive that there is a line that should be drawn, we are physical beings before anything else, and i love walking outside with my dogs and going for a run in the rain, by extending ourselves too deep into virtual reality i fear we may lose alot of our natural experience.
