Agree 100%; I was at the WC and visited a mosque first time with my family. Were educated on the tenets of Islam. Sad how Western media had shown Qatar before our trips. I told my wife that this might be a place for a second home for some people; it's clean, safe, and respectful. Qatari showed us the very best of what Islam is. Morocco playing till the Semi was the cherry on top of this World Cup, it kept the Africa, MiddleEast and Asian people interested in the game, they were all cheering for Morocco. Its once in a decade opportunity, and those who went to Qatar are so lucky to enjoy it. The world cup will not be so accessible, affordable to Asians and Africans again. It happened right in almost center of the world. May Allah bless the country with wealth, prosperity, power to do more good to humanity.

Imagine if this world cup tournament was about 150 years ago. Would a woman's scarf be only a representative of Muslim woman or any woman?
Would greeting each other with peace be only representative of Muslims?
Would mass drunkenness represent western norms?
