I’ve an iPhone SE and iPad mini. The iPhone is only to reply massages and make calls nothing else. I use my iPad for heavy media consumption. It helps me not to worry about my iPhone battery life 😅😅

im not very social and I dont really talk on the phone that much..but I have been doing this since I first bought the ipad and I have completely gotten rid of my phone...the ipad is my car stereo, my phone, my computer, my tv...iuse google voice for all my android friends and a skype local number for all my iphone friends but basically stick to imessage and facetime...I have the 256 gb tmobile data version and it has been great

Right now i use the ipad mini as a phone and i just keep my iphone in the car . I love it tbh because instagram you can use the website and it gives you full screen like the app on the phone and im on youtube all the time so the ipad is best for me

I don’t use my phone for talking on the phone anyway so this would be perfect for me. I would get the 5G data plan. I’ve been looking at this one from Tmobile for a few weeks now but I’m gonna get the 256 gig model, but I’ve been trying to hold up because I don’t know what the iPad mini 7 is gonna come out this year or not

i am using a Fold 4, so an iPad mini 6 is not much different from a Fold 4, and i use a Bluetooth earphone for calls anyway.

Been honest I don't see a problem using an iPad to call everyone uses airpods now or Bluetooth headsets.

We have an IPad Mini 4 on a $20 AT&T unlimited tablet plan. It’s just data with no voice and no text. We use MagicJack for $43 per year. That is basically what my daughter uses as a phone while away in college. It’s big enough to do school stuff and works as an unlimited phone. That’s inexpensive for $319 per year, unless someone here knows a better way.

One big problem, plan. Cost more than a cell phone plan over iPad LTE unlimited plan. There’s no saving money here. Only one benefit, iPad mini LTE is cheaper than a iPhone.
