Hi Will and Tim. Must say the first thing I noticed was the 2 black logos/symbols on the wall behind Tim. As an older person, all I could see was the SS symbol from WWII, and I found it most distracting. Hope it does not get noticed by the wrong crowd... I will now try to concentrate on the subject of the show, second hand Tesla cars, as I might be in the market for one soon.

If buying second hand, ask about the 12V battery. My 12V in my Tesla suddenly stopped charging(got a warning message, while driving, that the car may not restart) just this Friday 14th(not a happy valentines day). Once I stopped the car wouldn't start. Had to get it towed to a service centre. Still keeping it as the car is great.

My M3 SR+ is nearly 4 years old and I have looked at the Highlander but it's only a little bit better than mine. So I think I will keep my one for a few more years yet...

useful info. I'm thinking about a use tesla. Regardless of what you think of the founder, they seem to be great value for money, fun to drive, etc. I am a bit paranoid some nut will damage it though. Have insurance premiums gone up on them recently as far as you know?

I will add that its strange how people have gone from "get a tesla for protecting our environment" to suddenly blowing them up.

Hi, how can i tell on an advert if Model 3 has lfp battery. It shows that it has a heat pump but i cant see anything about LFP

Nice one, EV batteries are showing signs of far outlasting the car and easily being viable for battery storage in the long run. Some great vale 2nd hand ones out there as well.

They haven't changed the battery technology in the Model Y because there is no company on the planet making better batteries than what they are using.

Why would you put a gas car noise on a Tesla? The reason you buy an EV is to get rid of engine noise.

Tesla, once the dominant force in the European EV market, is experiencing a sharp decline in sales. The downturn has created an opening for competitors, including legacy automakers and emerging Chinese EV brands, to strengthen their foothold in Europe.

Sharp decline in sales across key markets
Recent data highlights Tesla's struggles across major European markets. In January 2025, it saw a significant drop in vehicle registrations:

Germany: Sales plummeted by 59.5%, with only 1, 277 vehicles sold compared to 3, 150 in January 2024.
France: A staggering 63.4% decline in sales.
UK: A more moderate 12% drop.
Netherlands: A 42.5% reduction in registrations.
Overall, Tesla's European sales for January 2025 were down by 50.4% year-over-year, outpacing the general market contraction. Industry analyst Dylan Khoo observed, "The big picture is a shrinking EV market across Europe. But Tesla is shrinking faster than that and in specific markets, it is outpacing that decline.

Why is the new model Y so much more expensive than the old one? Also chargeheads UK needs to re think his backdrop. We know musk is a bit of a Nazi but the SS looking backdrop is a bit inappropriate even if he thinks its meant to be an electrical symbol !
