The PSR, which grounds rational belief, is only compatible with determinism.

"Our cognitive faculties are designed by God to deliver a preponderance of true beliefs".

This claim is not justified under determinism, because it is just another claim. You're essentially saying:

"Of course we have justification for true beliefs. How do I know this? Because this proposition over here that I hold to is true. How do I know it's true? Trust me."

By “determined, ” do you mean discerned, or causally decided?

And is it possible that God determined (discerned) some things, such as evil, and determined (planned to cause) other things, such as salvation?

Because we have the objective word of God, true beliefs can be justified by how well they align with scripture.

Those who have false beliefs will not be able to justify them with scripture - they may THINK that they can justify them, but that's not the question... Whether or not someone is convinced of "X" according to the scripture is in the hands of God who is in control of our sanctification, and who can keep their heart from understanding (Job 17:4), but true beliefs can always be justified by the word of God, regardless of whether or not an individual was determined to believe it.

For instance, the "determinist" can point to Ephesians 1:10-11 in order to justify his belief that God is the ultimate cause of all things in heaven and on earth. The traditionalist however, in order to point to the existence of free will, he would ask why an eight-foot tall Wookie like Chewbacca would want to live on Endor with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks?

This video seems to answer a different objection than the one that is actually raised. The argument is that if determinism is true, then we cannot be justified in our beliefs. Instead of addressing that question, you addressed the question of whether our beliefs can be reliable under determinism. Since it's possible to form true beliefs reliably without any of those beliefs being justified, your answer doesn't really address the objection that was raised.

But don't get me wrong. I do think the libertarian argument fails, just for a different reason than the one you gave.

Sorry--the philosophical babble you provided was unwholesome and not useful. Calvinists lack a justification for their beliefs because their treatment of passages which "seem" to oppose Calvinism, is pathetic, wonky, shoddy, or, if you prefer, not exegetical. Calling it exegetical doesn't make it exegetical. It has to actually "be" exegetical. Don't believe me? Look again, carefully. Dare to doubt. Does their treatment of those passages actually "harmonize" anything? No--it harmonizes nothing. It's a theological magic trick, a theological circus. They fall back on pious talk, abusing the word "sovereign" as if it were a mantra that protected them from criticism. Why talk about determinism when you can't even harmonize all of the passages in question? Once you've harmonized them, feel free. It'll begin to make sense. One writer you may want to check out on this subject is Charlie Bing.

So generally, we can reject determinism?

Generally, we can trust our thinking to determine truth, even though God has determined everything??

Sorry, but you're not making any sense.

Would you be willing to discuss this video on a stream?
