I Tried WD 40 on my bathtub here's what happened. I also used wd 40 to shine the shower facet handle and the grout in the shower was tested to see if it would clean grout. When my grandmother passed away my aunt Jean wanted to clean the house. The house was so old it didn’t have a vent above the stove so the cabinets had grease all over them from years of cooking… WD40 was literally the only thing we could find to take that grease off the cabinets… It has many different uses. It’s kinda funny how it was developed by NASA. The WD stands for water displacement and it was the 40th formula they tried… PS it’s not really a good lubricant and it’s definitely not a penetrating oil… It’ll work in a pinch but you should really find a better lubricant.

Cleaning with bathroom cleaner once a week keeps that stuff from happening Umma chunks of grout that are coming out. I’d be redoing that you’re gonna have bigger problems than just dirty grout. In the future, same with the caulk around the base.

Vinegar and baking soda or Ajax works way better.

Wish it’d state whether it’s an enamel or plastic surface, eg the bath itself as these things make a difference. Also different metals on faucets too depend what solutions used.

I use peroxide for the base! Bath mats leave scum! No scrubbing!

Well we have a tile on the shower floor that’s rough and anti slip and full of foot grime from last tenants, I tried
Acid
Acetone
All nd petrol
Vinegar and Powder
Bleach and nothing moved it and guess what I sprayed WD40 on the tiles and left them for 10 mins and seriously I added soap and scrubbed it with a green scower and it all came off, yes if it eats into motor grease it will eat into the fat that comes off your feet, so 1000% works on grease on rough floor tiles 👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼

Dish tablet or a cup of washing powder cleans the bath and cheaper. Leave the bath soaking overnight in hot water. My gran swore by it and it works.
