EVER HAVE A CAN AND IT STOPPED WORKING WITH FLUID STILL IN IT? TRY THIS AND SEE IF IT WORKS. MY WD- 40 CAN DID JUST THAT. I TURNED IT UPSIDE AND SPRAYED IT AGAIN. IT WORKED.

well, my friend, I tried your suggestion. IT DIDN'T WORK!
Every body who has that problem, Here is a great solution:
Use LIQUID WRENCH, it's similar or even better penetrating than WD-40 and it works in every temperature, even when it's freezing outside when you need to lubricate your trusted snow blower and your WD-40 called quits! LIQUID WRENCH IS THE SOLUTION!

Wow. I was really irritated when a nearly full can of Wd40 was not working after sitting for a few years. This trick worked like magic. Now the can even works in the upright position too! Thanks

It worked....only dribbles but as a 68 year old widow who tries to do things like rehang Mty "rolling" shower door hardware or unstuck the garbage disposal I can say I use WD-40!!! This saved me about 1/4 of a bottle

I tried shaking and spraying upside down, friend. It didn't work. But I popped the nozzle off and noticed that there is a red spot indicator where to align sprayer with. Couldn't see that red dot when the nozzle is on, so I marked it lower on the can, with a permanent marker. Tried a straight needle to clear any clog. Nothing comes out yet. There is plenty of fluid still in the can. Your best advice.. don't buy the can with easy nozzle!

Was going to leave a thumbs down, but reading through the comments and your replies, I am convinced you are trying to help folks. I had already tried upside down and removing the cap. Yes, there's a mark on the can covered by the "new" style spray staw. Doesn't help. WD-40 has been a good product over the years. So is Liquid Wrench. Until WD comes in a user-friendly non-aeresol size, choose Liquid Wrench. Be careful puncturing or sawing pressurized cans. Thanks for taking the time to try and help folks with this video.

Thanks for advice- upside down did not fix my clog. Then I triedI putting my wd40 head w straw into a plastic container and poured some acetone on it, tilted container so liquid covered nozzle and swirled for 6seconds. Was able to spray with straw and nozzle!

I'm having the same problem. The can has the smart straw nozzle, its more than half full, yet nothing is coming out. This tip didn't work for me, but thank you for the video. I agree, the nozzle is junk.

Excellent and informative video. Thank you! Glad I found you! Maybe the new-fangled straw types become jammed over time, yet folks just keep buying replacements. You would think that the WD40 manufacturer's quality control would have been on the ball long ago about this constant consumer complaint.
