How to Use Tensile Shoulder Grips with Interchangeable Inserts

Shoulder Grips are used for testing according to ASTM E8, A370, and many other tensile tests dealing with metals. The grips have a small ledge where the fat part of the sample rests on. Interchangeable inserts can be swapped out to test multiple different sizes of sample types. Including threaded samples. The grips are sold as a pair and the sample is pulled through with the other side grip. Shoulder grips are a great solution for any sort of cylindrical samples that may cause trouble for vise grips or wedge grips.
