Some people need multivitamins, some do not. I have had doctor-recommended diets and exercise, some with and some without multivitamins. My blood work and health show me that I do need them, no matter what diet I follow. I have an issue with absorbing enough of several vitamins and minerals from food, but my doctors do not know why or what exactly it is.

I've had test after test done since I was born, because they thought it was sickle-cell anemia and also a few other things. They still don't know what it is, and a few years ago, I told them to stop prodding and poking me to figure it out. I'm now 27, and I get my blood work done at least every 3 months to keep this in check, because if I don't, bad things slowly start to happen and get worse.

So yes, for some people, it is entirely necessary. I don't think everyone needs to take them. Pay attention to your health, biology and blood work.

I once heard someone say; "hey, you take multivitamins? You know in contrast to vitamins in food your body doesn't take in most of what's in those pills right? Most of it will leave you when you go for a wizz. So you're just buying very expensive piss in my opinion". I don't know if he was right, but I just can't take them anymore with that mental image a doctor would tell me to do so.

guyz im 14 and been doing bodybuilding for a year now is that good and i pick alot of weights heavy ones too and been getting them gains but is that good to start bodybuilding at such an early age i didnt know it was early i just found it was early cuz everyone im my gym said ur so young!!!
