Most people don't get a balanced diet everyday due to various reasons such as non availability of certain veggies and fruits, work and the lack of time to cook a balanced diet every day. Multivitamins are good and easy and THEY WORK.

they definitely do!

you won't notice much of a change unless you have a vitamin deficiency (b12 and vitamin D in my experience)

As a person who eats plenty and still underweight from his childhood to teenage years, the moment I consumed multivitamins it made me gain some weight from 49kg underweight to 64kg balanced (I'm 5'4 short male)it helped me have energy everyday too. I can say that multivitamins works.

I feel so much better when I get a multi. I'll stop for a few days occasionally for the fat soluble vitamins.

I have something probably intestine cancer of some sort. Took some doxycycline and amoxicillin and then I researched how beautiful and delicate the intestines actually are. I thought it was tough like the outer skin. But no. It's delicate and looks like little micro ovulas covering the entire intestines. To absorb as much nutrition as possible before it turns into poop. I thought the stomach was responsible for that and with the stomach acid it's amazing that these delicate structures called Villi can survive the acid and everything. The human body is freaking crazy amazing.

So after researching this I figured my intestines needed something missing in my diet so I took a multi vitamin. It's like a blanket pill to help your body. What I was missing I assume is Iron. It's extremely important to cell reproduction and the intestines is extremely regenerative. If youre missing something it'll break down.

As the man says, other vits in the multi are discarded via urine, the body would retain the necessary ingredients.
For me, I think we don't need to take one every day. Three or four times a week is enough to maintain the levels

I try to eat as healthy as I can. But I don't follow the food pyramid or a specific intake of food. I eat however I feel at the moment. With that said. It's very hard to follow the entire routine of food every single day. Making the rice and chicken the average dinner meal across the world. Easy to cook and at least we get some protein from chicken and so.e vegetables if available. With that said, I do feel the difference in my energy and sleep when I take a multivitamin. What people need to understand is that vitamins are not meal replacements but to supplement the things that we are missing on a daily basis.

They work with proper diet, exercise, and sleep. There is nothing that works if you just sit around all day with poor habits doing nothing

I’ve been doing prolonged fasts and eat only 1 meal a day for a large calorie deficit. I am DEFINITELY not getting enough vitamins from my food which is why I need women’s vitamins (for the iron)

It’s important to take high quality multivitamin with more bioavailable vitamins & minerals. For example, I prefer methylcobalamin over cyanocobalamin for B12. You have to look at the ingredient list that if the first ingredient is calcium carbonate and the bottle is real heavy, I would look elsewhere:)

Why always this 'answer' that utterly avoids the question?!

"If you got all your vitamines and minerals in your diet, you don't need supplements."

Yeah, obviously! Not the question...

At least he adds to it, that it does work. Often enough not even that.

Also when you look up everything you need every single day, you have to eat a lot of different stuff and that day by day, often enough in quite absurd amounts.

Potassium for example with its 4g and there isn't that much food around that got it in high enough doses to reach it.

I fast 16-20 hours and then eat a fatty steak. I get much of my minerals from my meat but these are a vitamin treat that I look forward to so I feel it's a healthy little 2-3 sometimes 4 little gummy vite bites.

I just ordered a multivitamin the other day, first time taking one in over a decade. I work overnight shifts and after I eat at work, lethargy sets in for an hour or two until I am able to shake the cob webs. I have to say, I took my multivitamin before work and I felt like a million bucks all night at work. I am shocked with how well my mind and body responded. I honestly can’t even believe it.

Co nutrients found in food work synergistically with the vitamins and minerals in food. Supplements wouldn’t have these.

Multivitamins don't contain enough magnesium and vitamin D. Also, some vitamins shouldn't be taken together. It's complicated, and taking vitamins can become a science project.
