My 2007 Yaris had 340, 000 miles on it, no check engine light, didnt leak oil, nothing.... one of the best cars I have ever owned.

My dad had a Yaris and loved it. The instrument dial back then was in the center. He sold it just before he passed away in 2012. He was 92.

As a Yaris owner this gets my seal of approval

177, 000 hard driving miles and no wear on the engine. Not shocking knowing it was made in Japan.

I still have my 94 Toyota 4WD pickup. Starts right up and runs great even on the highway. I replaced the timing chain in 2003 and an alternator belt in 2007. Other than that, I've only spent money on routine brakes and oil changes. Bought it almost 29 years ago.

My wife and I had a 2008 Yaris 4 door, we purchased it new and kept it for 10 years. Used it for long trips twice a year from Arizona to the Mid West and Deep South plus daily driving. Replaced the tires twice and battery once. We did nothing to it other than routine maintenance. Sold it in 2018 with over 104, 000 miles on it and bought a new Toyota Camry XLE. The fellow we sold it to is still driving it daily. It was our 3rd. Toyota. I have owned 4 and kept them all for years and many miles with those kinds of results.

Was kinda thinking of getting a third car for the family & these things don't show up in used car listings. No owners wanna let them go.

The Yaris has been about in Europe for over twenty years in on shape or another, and they are brilliant.
They have strong, reliable, dependable mechanicals with good fuel economy, magnificent build quality and ease of service.
Most of the European cars will be manual (or stick shift) transmission and are driven by people of all ages from driving instructors to seniors and as a used buy, they are always well looked after well maintained.

Yaris owner for 5 years. So True Scotty! The value of something isn't related to it's popularity. God bless you!

Bought my 07 3 door hatch new for $10, 000. Has 220000 on it now and aside from basic maintenance the only problem it ever had was a sticky brake caliper. Reliability Durability Economy the Yaris cannot be beat.

I have a 2006 Scion Xa that also came with the 1NZ-FE engine, and it's a 5-spd. It's very similar to the Yaris lol. Love the thing. Every time I think about trading it in for something else I'm reminded how good it has been to me so I don't.

The yaris is probably one of the most reliable cars

I've seen them with 600, 000 k
Same engine same transmission no rebuild

Great video. I bought a 2012 Yaris hatch brand new and traded it in on a 2017 hatch when I learned they Yaris was being discontinued in the U.S. market. It's got a 5-spd manual and gets about 45mpg in the summer. I wish they still made these tiny cars in the U.S.

Had a 2012 Yaris Sedan and I loved it, gave it to my nephew and got myself a 2012 Corolla, wonderful car, it was an automatic and really did pick up speed nicely- miss her.

I had a '96 Toyota Tercel and it was my favorite car ever. Everything was manual and mechanical (even down the the rack-and-pinion steering which gave me a workout in any parking lot). Super reliable and fun to hoon. It had about 300k miles on it before I basically gave it away to a friend who basically trashed it.

Toyota always gave me a Yaris as a loaner when my Prius was in the shop. I own a Camry now.

I had a 2103 manual transmission Yaris with 100, 000 miles. It had no problems and original brakes in perfect condition. I loved that car (I was 61 years old when I purchased it.) Unfortunately someone ran a stop sign and it was gone. I can not find a manual Yaris to replace it, but I'm still looking.
