Extremely poor medical facilities. My cousin had an accident while se was pregnant. They did not dare to operate her and she came to Chennai for her treatment. Akshat once said shifting for money is bad and now he is doing it. That's why he is Akshat and not Dr. Bhabha, Dr. Sarabhai or Dr. Kalam

Hi Akshat, One of the biggest reasons is ease of getting government things done. In India noone will do basic things in govt offices for you. In Dubai or other such countires around the world, it doesnt happen. There is a line, q structured way to do things, novkdy will break the line and try to get ahead of you and govt employees always try to help you without asking for a bribe. Example - buying a property in such country is such a seamless experience and because everything's available online, there is complete translarency which cant be imagined in India. I can know the history of property's selling-buying history at what price and what not. I had to interact with the lawyer just once, never with magistrate courts or anything else. Property papers stay with the government and their records get updated and you get the receipt of records updation in 2 months and no black money required. The lawyer will do all financial transactions and all realtors are regulated, unlike India where any tom dick harry becomes one..

Forgot to mention the unstable political situations of many countries have led people to come and live in dubai.. Dubai[UAE] is in harmony with almost every country.

Go there and live there then you will slowly understand how you will be treated as a third class resident. Only Europeans, Arabs and few other nationals get some respect there. You are building this perspective based on some few parameters but missing badly on the bigger picture.

I myself plan to take Dubai residence but not move there completely as I only want the access to the forex and US derivatives markets
I don't have any problem paying the taxes here and contributing in my own country
and until you don't have a real in office job, you shouldn't also move to dubai as there social life is non existent

Akhsyat -I live in dubai and beg to differ with you partially. I work here and earn money. Crlebrities like you have money and move to dubai to live. Criteria are, 1. Safety safety and safety. 2. Better lifestyle - clean city clean food and clean ambience, 3. Less tax, 4. Quality products of all kinds, 5. Law and order in order, finally 6. No politicians, dalals, middlemen, bribe, and harassment of bullies.
