Which OIL to use? | Dr Pal

Regarding oil, the question should not be WHAT OIL ? it should be HOW MUCH OIL? Regardless of whichever oil you choose, 1 tablespoon of oil contains 120 calories.

When you go more than 500 ml per month, it gets deposited as extra calories possibly in the liver causing fatty liver.

Thank you so much for the excellent advise and info sir. So we need to use only coconut oil for cooking means how good is that for heart patients ? Many say don’t use coconut oil for a heart patient. Kindly advise . I am a regular follower of your YouTube videos and tons of thanks for the wonderful contents ❤

Fantastic! I use coconut oil and a little bit of ghee and occasionally use mustard oil in pickles. Together I use may be about 300ml per month, mainly to sauté vegetables, cooked by AMC waterless cooking method. Since many commentators have asked about groundnut/sesame oil, my own experience which may not be typical. I used to use groundnut oil mostly, about 300ml or so per month and once I shifted to coconut oil because of thyroid problem, the joint pains totally disappeared in a few months. I think it may be because of high amount of omega6 fatty acids in groundnut oil. Sesame oil has even more of it. Mustard oil is actually rich is anti inflammatory omega3 but it also has erucic acid. Anyway, my consumption of mustard oil may be only 50-100 ml per year in pickles. I otherwise use mustard oil for oil bath once a week.

Hey Dr pal, big fan of your work, I personally lost 47kg by the method of intermittent fasting and working out. This took nearly a year. Now I was wondering to start eating in the evening again as I can't stop losing weight. Like it would go below BMI. Pl tell me what to do.
Thanks
