mine do the same thing. i just got them on christmas and i have a feeling it’s just how they’re constructed and it’s more of a nitpicky thing rather than it being an actual problem as many, if not all airpods do this

I think that’s how it’s made, bought Gen 2 pro and this was driving me nuts, so looked at you tube to see almost everyone posting the same 😂

LOL my AirPods Pro 2 did this and it drove me CRAZY I brought them back to Walmart and got a pair of AirPods 4 ANC :)

Got my airpods pro 2nd generation today. It does exactly that! I wanted to exchange them but after reading all the comments here and under other similar videos about clicking.. Im sure it's just how they make them.

This is normal if the lid was tight. Overtime dust would make the lid opening feel rusty and force when opening it.

That dose the same to me every time when I drop it when I play basketball and then it falls off and dosent break

All airpods do this, we are just being super picky. Apple is not perfect and neither is a hinge smh
