Canning SPAM? | Make it at home #spamtember #spam #homemade

Buying your own SPAM to load up your #prepping shelves is one thing, but making your own #homemade is a whole new beast to conquer...or is it? Canning up your own #spam is surprisingly easy and I'm happy to say the recipe is right here:

Ingredients:

5 lbs Pork (I used already ground)
1lb Prepared ham
2-1/2 Tbsp Plain salt
2 Tbsp sugar
6 Tbsp Potato starch (cornstarch works too)
1 tsp Pink Curing Salt (optional...you totally don't need this so don't fret if you don't have it!)
1/2 Cup Water

Grind pork if whole, then mix into diced ham. Add rest of ingredients and mix well!
Process 1 pint jars 75 minutes@ 10 lbs pressure.
