The point about having a floating front rack making axle cleans far harder is really under mentioned! You could really see it at worlds in the guys with a proper front rack pretty reliably were top of the pack on the axle for max

I've fully bought into the AD press on a Smith machine, finally able to load the lats by opening up on the way down, feels like I'm getting an extra 10% from the compression in the bottom.

I have found high rep breathing pullovers to be absolutely amazing for my front rack position. I started to do them as a part of Super Squats and holy shit, my ohp, cleans, and front squats has never felt better.

I've recently started struggling with my presses due to some issue in my right shoulder, and I'm pretty sure it's a rotator cuff thing, which is partly from poor mobility, but also probably partly from overcompensating for an issue in my thumb tendon (De Quervain's syndrome). I think these mobility exercises will probably help. To be honest, I've seen them all before, but there's something about the way you're doing them that makes them seem more relevant.

Getting a decent overhead position is something I’ve struggled with has led to a number of minor injuries.

Result being I’ve ended up using machines for overhead work, going to incorporate these to see if these help.

Ive had extreme shoulders pain in my left shoulder, likely rotator cuff area (connectting the upper tricep to the shoulder, i dont know anatomy super well). It really started when inwanted to see how much i could ohp. I did 145 or 150 a few times, like twice. It hurt for 6+ months and went away after 3-4 days of using a muscle scraper tool i bought off of Amazon for $11.

This thing is so cheap and eell made of stainless steel. Chiropractors and PTs use them and i must say it has worked wonders in no time flat.

I'm so immobile that just pressing the bar properly overhead is problematic. I'm going to try these stretches.

I prefer dumbbell presses. It prepares me for pressing two petite women above my head at the same time. Benching doesn't have the same effect.

How about not pressing at all. LBS on the table? Lift until you break! Great advice.
