She was so damn good in the movie. Her pain and angst were palpable and blended so perfectly with Leo"s suppressed pain. The sex was mostly implied but when she finally got her release it was so beautiful and then all the pain was gone. Everybody involved deserves an Oscar.

Of course I do not know Emma Thompson personally but I do have to say I simply adore her. She's a fierce advocate for being our best selves and walks through all her trials and gripes with such good humor and wisdom that simply jolts me alive from any self doubt or pathetic wallowing I might be having at any moment. I found that, in this brief interview, she is bursting with authenticity, charming at every turn, and as she is in every performance, is absolutely radiant. She twinkles in this interview; I find her incredibly beautiful as a human being and a woman and, honestly, will likely always feel her to be one of my role models for how to be a remarkable, kind person in the world.
