It's infuriating that Jon's powerful voice is even needed in this situation. Take care of our veterans, FFS!

Oof. Hes choosing a valiant fight, but since PFAS are created by the wall street giants, and are in the ground water, theres very little chance of good outcomes. No ones even talking about c6 and c8 serum levels and the significant effects it has on vaccine efficacy. Nor that the prisoner firefighters in CA are already feeling that. Also, we need to address that mast cells are activated by those exposures and are the cause of most underlying comorbidities in the pandemic. As well as connective tissue disorders, addicition (opioids are produced by the same people in wallstreet), alcoholism, heart disease, T2D, obesity, IBDs, Autism, PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc

Can we elect Jon president against his will? I know he's said he's not into the job, but c'mon man...he's obviously overqualified compared to some of our past choices...

Thank you Mr. Stewart as a registree (of toxic burn pits) I fear the day my illness maybe denied, from my TBI to my voluntary burning of toxic items, if I had known what I know now, a part of me would have passed up; but because of my persistent Private mentality, I did what others didn't want to. from burning "cheese wedges" to human waste... This we'll defend! Our Veterans need our support now more than ever, especially after Trump's reign. Please ask your representatives to support those of us, who unwittingly exposed ourselves to toxic substances for the safety of our brothers and sisters. please...

NTU recognizes the good intentions of supporters of the Honoring our PACT Act, and applauds bipartisan efforts to improve veterans’ health outcomes. Like most Americans, we believe that U.S. taxpayers are obligated to support the health care needs of those who sustained injuries, diseases, or other medical conditions as a result of their sacrifices to our nation. It is up to Congress, though, to find a fiscally responsible path to providing for our nation’s veterans, and there is no shortage of wasteful spending Congress could cut to pay for new spending in the Honoring our PACT Act.

Unfortunately, neither chamber has contemplated even a modest effort to offset new spending. As NTU has outlined previously, the House version of the Honoring our PACT Act would not offset any new spending. The Senate version of the bill contains no offsets either. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that the Senate substitute could increase deficits by around $285 billion over 10 years. This legislation’s deficit impact is almost as large as that of the Build Back Better Act, and is larger than that of the bipartisan infrastructure law passed last year.

BTW, $100, 000, 000 sounds like a HUGE amount, but that is 30 CENTS PER PERSON in our country. Do you think spending 30 cents per person to treat Head and Neck Cancers of Veterans that got those Cancers from service is worth it? What person thinks 30 cents more is not worth treating veterans' cancers they got from their service? Do you think it's worth $5 a person a month to treat ALL veterans sickened by burn pits for ALL of their illness and rehab and disability? I think it is the very least we can do.

Men and women volunteer then you're going to deny. They should be covered head-to-toe no matter what no matter where it came from.
