Stewart has reached that rare place for entertainers where he can say what he wants, when he wants, not have to answer to anyone. You can tell he genuinely enjoys it.

I watched the Daily Show 17 years ago in high school when the cicadas were out. This is a reality check!

Jon Stewart pointing out the blur between comedy and existential horror

Edit: Jon's humor was fairly obvious hyperbole meant to mock conservative paranoia, the same way Stephen used to pretend to be a crazy conservative character on The Daily Show

Edit 2: Hanlon's Razor is especially relevant to the paranoid witch-hunters looking for malice.

"When effortful, deliberate thought is disengaged, endorsement of conservative ideology increases."

Like Bill Murray, Jon Stewart has reached the point where he can waltz into any place without a care in the world lol

Jon Stewart needs a fucking podcast, he could be bigger than Joe Rogan. Easily.

John Stewart can cut through BS with comedy like no one else.

Jon Stewart is an absolute delight and treasure. We need so much more of his cut-the-shit, take-no-shit wisdom.

That's one of the things I really love about Jon. Since his retirement in all of his appearances on TV he's never pushing his own personal agenda. Never trying to sell you a copy of his book. Etc.
He's either there to help someone else with a problem they're dealing with, like the 9/11 first responders, or he's just chilling with his old comedy buddies.

Remember when comedy was edgy and had Jon Stewart remembers.

Jon's gone full Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

this shouldn't be only a 10 min interview. this should be an entire 3 hour podcast and I'd listen to every second of it
