It has been a few days since the attempted assassination of former President Trump. Both sides in our polarized political system have retreated to their respective corners and cast blame on the other, making it more difficult than ever to engage in healthy debate with political adversaries. Joining us to do just that is Bill O’Reilly, Anchor of No Spin News and Author of the upcoming book, Confronting the Presidents: No Spin Assessments from Washington to Biden.

As a disc golfer, I can assure you, you don’t need a gun to kill a squirrel. I still feel horrible about it. Poor little guy and damn my awful drive.

Does anyone else think its kind of sweet that they keep debating each other? Like after all this time and how much they disagree, theyre still willing to come together like this. I respect them both for it honestly

When Bill O'Reilly is now a "semi-voice of reason" you know something is fucked up. Also the older he get's the more Bill looks like Frasier

No Bill. I lived in South Korea and Japan. Both countries have strict gun regulations. Both countries have less severe judicial outcomes. You're just wrong.

I'll say it again: If we did nothing after Sandy Hook, we never will.

Honestly, this was refreshing. I don’t agree with a lot of the things Riley says, but I do enjoy a conversation between two people who disagree on so many things and they talk it out. I wish our political system worked like this.

Jan 6 started at the first debate in 2020 when Trump declared that the only way he could lose is if the other side cheated, and told his supporters to keep a close eye on poll workers (in other words disrupt their work and look for excuses to create conspiracy theories).

there are three certainties in life; death, taxes, and John Stewart and Bill O'Reilly "arguing" with each other.

"The US spent 2 Trillion on Vaccines!" - Bill Oreilly a 2 second google search... "the US spent $30 billion on vaccines"

The irony of Oreilly saying the point of discourse is not to destroy the other person? Isn't that how he made his living on Fox all those years?!

I want Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly to have their own show where they teach us how to talk about things we disagree on

I feel for Americans dealing with price gouges, I do. But we are all going through this situation worldwide. Blaming the problem on a single head of state is just nonsense.

I really appreciate this format. Thank you John and Bill for reminding us how to have political conversations.

This is adorable. My father was very much an O’Reilly kinda guy. Adhered to him and Limbaugh religiously. I’m a Stewart/Oliver kinda guy. This reminded me of conversations that my dad and I would have over an afternoon. Weirdly nostalgic honestly. Thanks guys. 😊

If Bill wants lefties to listen to him he should 1. try not acting so god damn smug and 2. stop being utterly wrong about most things.

Bill O’Reilly: “I went to Harvard.” Also, Bill O’Reilly: “Economics?! I’m a simple man. I have no idea what you’re talking about right now.”

"You could never prove that in a court?"
Interesting you say that, Bill. There's EXTENSIVE court documents on that exact situation lmao.

"You went to Harvard, was that a DEI initiative for Irish guys?" - LOL

As much as every fibre of my being rebels to listen to Bill O'Reilly, this may be the only way I can - with Jon doing what he does well. It is important to sit with the uncomfortable, it is one of the best ways to figure out what I actually believe in. It is worth challenging myself by listening to the ideas, thinking and opinions of a person I am fundamentally sure I am going to disagree with on almost everything.
Thanks Jon, I think.
