My mom died a week 19, she was only died suddenly by an asthma attack. She called 911 and was all alone...the ambulance didn't come in time for her. It doesn't feel real. We were supposed to spend New Years together....her life was so horrible....she never had it easy...i wish i was there for her....

You NEVER get over your Parent's death, you just learn to live with it. My pop died last year and it has hit me very hard. He was my best friend and has always been a part of my life...it's very difficult getting used to the idea that he doesn't exist anymore...at least in this world.

Lost my dad is 2010. The last time I spoke to him the doctors told us there just wasn’t anything we can do anymore. My dad said “my butterfly. I’m so sorry I have to leave you. But I fought this long for you and I won’t let go until you say it’s okay. I won’t let go unless you’ll be okay. I’m so sorry I won’t meet my grandchildren, I’m sorry I won’t walk you down the aisle.. but I’ll be there, butterfly. I love you to the moon” the next morning I woke up and I felt it in my gut. I knew he was gone. Then my mom confirmed it. It’s like.. all of the air in the room was gone.. even now. Some days you just feel like it’s hard to breathe. But in his memory I am completing his bucket list. Our bucket list. His number one? Dance with my butterfly. That’s one thing I’ll never get to do again.. 🥺I miss you dad!
