I work for Anheuser-Busch as a deliverly driver it’s a good job you need a class A but weekends off and all major holidays. $179 a day plus .173 cents per case delivered. Once you’re done with ur route you can leave. Best part I haven’t missed picking my kids up from school once this year…Priceless in my life right now. (But extra work is available as well)

Don't get into accidents, don't let anything intrude on your workday, be ready for bad knees, bad hips, bad back, lack of sleep, stress level 100, and bad managers. Worked at it for 8 years. It's not all chocolates and candy like this guy is saying.

In my area the wait time to even become a full-time employee is a LOT longer than 2 or 3 years. I interviewed and asked how long and was told I could easily get to full-time status in about 10 years. Meanwhile you’re what’s called permanent part-time. Loading the trucks will wear you down over time too!

This is a TOUGH JOB and very hard work. You are HUSTLING non-stop from the start of the day until your last parcel is delivered. As a driver you are always exposed to all kinds of nasty weather and many times encounter dangerous conditions when doing deliveries. There is a LOT of walking, climbing stairs, navigating various properties and nighttime deliveries with rain/snow that make for extra challenging conditions. These drivers definitely EARN their pay and the physical toll is enormous.

My cousin was hired during covid straight into the driver seat. He quit after a month 😂

USPS does the same thing with the day pay he talked about. You’re guaranteed pay for the entire hours of operation, so if you finish by noon and your office doesn’t close until 4 or 5, you’re still getting paid for the 4-5 hours that you’re not working. Also, since it’s a government job, they’ll pay off your student loans and you get a pension. The bonus of USPS is that you don’t have to prioritize customer service like these private companies do AND you are still unionized so even if you were doing things like throwing peoples mail out of your window to finish sooner, you won’t be fired. At most, you’d just be relocated to a different location…which may sound bad but they also pay a generous mileage rate to get to work lol. So you could be pulling in an extra $700-$1000 on top of your regular pay

Wow. An hour in straight time for working twice as fast all day. And only $40 an hour topped out. I’m good. And they’ll work you like a dog around Christmas.

Teamsters union!! Always demand more from you employer. More money, or PTO, or benefits, etc.
