My grandfather just passed at the ripe age of 92. He always kept a community garden and preserved what he could through the winter. I help manage a garden in my neighborhood as well. It's nice to see the kids in the raspberry bushes and ripping carrots out since our neighborhood is kind of a food desert.

Damn now I really need to make some pasta. Your video makes me miss my grandpa Frank. Nothing beats having homemade pasta. I got to help him make it growing up on many occasions. I remember after cutting it all down we’d put it down on clean bedsheets to dry for a few days. Then we’d freeze them for storage. I’m blessed to have grown up in an Italian family that still kept some of the old traditions alive. Keep up the awesome videos they are truly inspiring 👊🏻
