If this event, originally, comes from the first nation people, then i believe it. They are not known to spin a yarn or just out right lie about such events. The first nation people have been giving these accounts for centuries. They have nothing to gain from a fabrication of this magnitude. Love your channel!!

I love to hear the stories passed down from the First Nations. We are rich in history, sadly, because it is not written in books, we are losing so much of it. It's great to see videos like this documenting it. Hopefully someone is working to get more into actual physical books, as we are at risk to lose so much more.

I had a violent encounter with a humungus bigfoot, over 20 feet tall, in those same mountains and have a picture of him. The county where this happened is Leflore county, named after Joshua Leflore.

I was born and raised in Leflore county, I have only heard this story in the past few years.
I believe that it is just a story written and told for pure entertainment.

So Joshua Leflore was a really person but as far as I can tell by googling him he was born in 1877 though we don't know how or when he died. Do the Choctaw people stand by this story?
