Outlook Mail Merge: How to change default account for sending messages

Doing an email mail merge in Outlook is easy, but what if you have multiple email accounts and need to change the default account for sending emails? This video applies to not only mail merge but changing your default email account in Outlook. There are two steps you need to do in Outlook. One is in Account Setting. That is where you change the default account. The second step is in Outlook options. You tell Outlook to always use the default account to send messages.

Steps to change the default email account:

1) Open Outlook desktop
2) Click File - Account Setting - Account Setting
3) Select the account you want to be the default
4) Click Set as default
5) Click Close

Steps to always use the default account to send
*******
1) Click File - Options
2) Select Mail
3) Find the Send messages area and check Always use the default account when composing new messages
4) Click OK
