100% a racial element. If this had been a white realtor, they would never have *dared* put cuffs on him. The moment he said, "I'm a realtor" they would have said, "Oh, sorry for the confusion, we need to see your realtor's license- this home was broken into last week." Show realtor's license, encounter over. 5 minutes max. 30 minutes? Not a racial issue? We're not blind or stupid. We. See. You.

Highly likely a Karen called the cops. I would not buy that house if there’s a Karen next door.

That’s a clear and concise way of saying “we don’t want you in our neighborhood.” And the cop had the gall to say “It’s obviously a nice neighborhood, people looking out for each other.” No, it’s obviously not a good neighborhood.

that incident just saved that father and son from buying into a wrong neighborhood. When i was buying houses. First thing I did was scouting the neighborhood. If it is not diverse, I was not buying. I want to see people of every races in my neighbor. You are going to get single out if you live in a neighbor, which has one race in majority.

Whoever made that call needs to be held accountable. I hope they were able to get the 911 recording.

"Obviously a good neighborhood" says the Cop.... Yes, I'm sure the 3 black men who just had the cops show up with guns drawn on them because of the neighbours had the same impression.

“The targets”…that says everything there is to say about policing in the States

It should be a crime to call the cops for this. Someone clearly has a lot of free time on their hands too, to monitor other houses.

Why aren’t we seeing the videos where the white realtor and clients are told to exit the home with hands up? Oh, right…

Can you imagine the humiliation the realtor might have felt after this incident? I hope he didnt feel like it was his fault for showing a place with neighbors like that.

“Obviously a good neighbourhood they’re watching out for each other.” That’s not what I would call it.

"They look after each other."
Do not try to pretend that they would have done the same thing if the guys had been white, or that they would look after their new neighbours. Do not even go there. It adds to the insult.

If they have the keys, and there's a sale sign next to the door, it's simple to add up what's happening. Now it's a good place NOT to buy.

So I do get it if the house had been broken into before that maybe the neighbors thought it was another break-in. However, people don't usually break-in in broad daylight through the front door. But assuming that it was a mistake by the neighbors, the cops were way too quick to draw their guns and slap on cuffs. You clearly see they are cooperating fully, have their hands up, and yet you still cuff them before asking any questions? There were a lot of assumptions made in this case, I don't see how you can say there isn't a racial element to how they were treated. They were treated like they were guilty and had to prove their innocence whereas if they were white they would have been treated like they were innocent unless it was clear they were guilty. I am white and would look around properties, look into windows, go into backyards, etc. while I waited on the realtor to arrive. Never once did I have the cops called on me.

This literally has me in tears. I’m just so relieved it didn’t end up with shots fired and innocent people losing their lives.

So how many bets that there had already been other realtors surveying that house with their clients prior to this incident?

Officer: "well its obviously a good neighborhood, their watching out for each other."

...they watch out for each other but didn't know the house was empty?

That was absolutely a racist “neighbor” who called in. The whole incident is a profile of what white suburban folks think… sickening. I hope those guys seek a better place with decent neighbors.
