Calling the police for no reason needs to be a crime, and it needs to be enforced.

And she went directly into scared and distressed mode while on that phone call, but she was vile and vicious towards them when she wasn't on the call. That's not mental illness. Just breaks my heart. I'm a disabled female who struggles, I live on my own. I hate to bother people to ask for help and I can't really afford to pay people to help me. I would have came out and asked if I could hug them and repeatedly thank them till they got tired of hearing it. I would have minimally offered them some coffee or hot chocolate and at least some money.

This woman is a disgrace. Yet, part of me feels sorry for her because I imagine living with that much hatred in your mind and heart must feel like an acid deteriorating away at you everyday. I hope this doesn't change their view on helping people. There are those of us out there who appreciate this kind of gesture so much. It would have meant so much to me I would have thought about it for days honestly.

I have had to shovel snow and it has caused me great injury. One time because of my balance issues I fell and broke my left ankle, which bothers me to this day, years later. Another time, I pulled my back out and was unable to move or stand correctly for days. I just can't understand having this much hatred for someone doing you a favor, despite your upbringing

Cops saying "yeah she has mental health issues" does not excuse them allowing her to endanger two guys breaking no laws and doing a good deed just because she doesn't like their skin. The fact that it does endanger their lives is what needs to be called out - not some crazy old lady.

OMG! Her sense of entitlement is symbolic of the revamped discrimination we are facing in our country. And not just toward minorities, against any common sense reasoning, and anyone who disagrees. Well, it’s a public sidewalk. The officers have no more right to tell them to not shovel snow off it than the old racist twat in this situation. That being said, I’d probably show the cops the video and have her arrested. She’s at that age to where she thinks she can do anything she wants and get away with it. Needs a wake up call.

Cops need to school her on the fact that she doesn't own the sidewalk in front of her house! And it is the responsibility of the home owner to keep the snow shoveled because if someone slips and falls they can sue you!

Wow. That hurt my heart to watch. What nice guys helping out that elderly woman and to be treated so horrible. They handled the situation way better than I would have. Well done gentleman. I’m sorry that you had to experience that when you were just trying to be kind to a neighbor. So sad.
