Vivaldi may not be the fastest, but I love being able to rearrange and reposition the UI. Also, multi-tab viewing is a huge plus.

The location thing you mentioned about Firefox... every browser does that, Google search does that automatically so when you search a thing up it Will first filter through your countries searches, I personally use duckduckgo as I think they are more transparent but the Firefox thing all the browsers do that, every site and anything that connects to the internet needs to know your IP so it can connect to it, IP is like a key to your computer, without it you cant connect to the internet. Any site, app on ANY device connects to the IP via internet, there is NO other way, its just that most companies dont tell you that as it is private information but they do need it to connect to you, its another thing to store it and use it for other type of business. With that said any browser or app that you can type into can store anything you typed into it. Its like walking into a building thats not yours, your gonna be filmed by the security cameras whether you like it or not. It really depends what they use the data for but most companies use it for bad things and what that means is that they sell it to 3rd parties for large sums of cash. Same goes for operating systems themselves, anything thats not yours you wont know how it operates and what it does in the background but I can tell you this that everything does something in the background. Now the opensource apps are another thing as ANYONE can look through their code that makes the app and they can see if there is any code thats made to collect information and in what kind of way. Also no company tells the people that they can see your IP which means they can see your location among other things because they dont want to freak people out but it makes sense that people would get freaked out because there are other ways of doing this. All ISPs could simply use their own DNS and IP servers instead of connecting to a specific user, there would be other problems by doing this but i think security and anonymity are more important than a companies problems.

Vivaldi is actually good... It has a lot of settings, tab tiling, capture, support for chrome extensions, web panels, themes, built in notes, speed dial, search bar, mouse getsures etc.
