As a player if both, Java is way better if you have a higher end machine, way more farms and opportunities to play on servers and easier to install mods and texture packs, Java is just funner, sometimes my projects take way longer on Bedrock than they would have on Java because Bedrock just cant make farms for certain items

as an bedrock and java player i would say that java and bedrock are pretty much on the same level because on java you only need to pay for the game and can get shaders texture packs and mods for free but i will agree with the points that you can play bedrock on every device and it running smoothly

For java performance use sodium or optifine, and for playing with friends, there are mods that mimic the inviting friends on singleplayer worlds, pretty much everything that bedrock has better, java can make up with a few simple mods, leaving bedrock with no more better features since they are easily replaced by mods in java, then, java is superior, it's waaaay less buggy, smoother, and easier to play

Honestly, Java and Bedrock are equal, one has less bugs, more mods and better servers, while the other has more tiny features, runs better, and has free world sharing across all devices

Exept physics and combat
Everything in bedrock is better
By physics I count the view bobbing, entity collision(yeah mobs can also push the player) and offcaurse boats having no sudden damage glitch
And the combat should have been easier in bedrock since console gamers play it but nah they kept the 1.8 combat so you have spam the button instead of using actual strategy

Wrong! I don’t think bedrock runs smoothly cuz my performance on java is WAY better. Also I sometimes have to turn down the render distance WHEN SOMEHOW IT GETS AUTOMATICALLY SET TO MAX wtf??!!! Also the animations on servers are cringe and make it worse. IM LITERALLY USING A 4050!! 😡

the only problem with minecraft java (and java in general) is performance and resource usage, jvm just uses up too much resources. maybe if someone rewrote minecraft in a language that runs in a more efficient vm, it could use less memory/cpu/gpu
