If you are a casual player, I recommend Bedrock as it is easier to control and is easier.
If you take minecraft more seriously get Java as it has more features for building, pvp, and etc.

I love how Chuck is doing a good old Minecraft Machinima like back in the day. But with a different topic and slightly controversial one. Love it.

I play Java because I love the Vanilla feeling to it, while I play Bedrock (mobile version) whenever I don't play Java edition.
