Add ons ARE NOT locked behind a pay wall on fact there are lots of third party Addons you can get. The only ones that are would be the Minecraft marketplace mods, which most are free
Edit: I know you can’t get third party addons with console but he’s referring to bedrock as a whole

Bedrock has much more small features than Java tho, like baby squid, generation of fallen trees, and you can put potions in cauldrons

Me:I call BS on that you assume we use money on Minecraft besides to buy the game it's not unless your on console but that has nothing to do with the game even if java was on console it wouldn't change that, we get shit for free the whole "oh you have to pay to get mods, skins, etc on bedrock" is a fucking myth 99% of bedrock players never even used the marketplace that 1% is console players poor guys

THERE IS NO DUMB PAYWALL ON BEDROCK EDITION YOU CAN EASILY INSTALL ADDONS TEXTUREPACKS BEHAVIOR PACKS SKINPACKS WORLD TEMPLATES AND MUCH MORE WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT YOU JUST HAVE TO RUN A .MCPACK FILE OR .MCWORLD OR WHATEVER

In my opinion the one thing that I want in Java that bedrock has is how easy it is to join your friends in their worlds

It fucking pisses me off when people say that you have to pay for mods and skins and such on bedrock when you don't have to. There's hundreds of websites and apps to download maps and mods and they are so much easier to install. Just because minecoins are there doesn't mean anyone actually uses them.
