I’m like 6’4 or 6’5. I’ve had the fear of looking like a bear on a tricycle

I am 6.7 37” inseam and just took a giant leap for my first bike. Never rode anything other than a bicycle before.
Bought an Africa Twin 1100 DCT.
Was told it’s possibly the worst bike to learn on.
But…. I’m careful..practiced a lot…and… loving it!!!
The bike looks like it’s made for me.

I'm 6' 7" tall with a 36 inseam. Carnival tall! I fear low slung fans and old ladies at the grocery store that need items from the top shelf. I needed this video. Thank you gents.

At 6'5" I greatly appreciate this video/topic, thank you.
There is also the other problem, riding gear. We already have a hard enough time finding normal clothes in our sizes, aka size 14 or 15 shoes, 38W38L pants, and XL Tall shirts/jackets. These so called "big and tall" stores are really just for big people, not tall, as their shirt sizes almost never include longer tall versions, just various width sizes including more letter X's than an adult film, and pants always stop at 34L but go up to 60Waist.

6'4'' here, ridin' SV650S 2nd gen. Looks and feels much bigger in full fairing than the naked version. Quick, loud, reliable. Do recommend :)

I'm 6'3 230 lbs.... and yes I can fit on alot of bikes but comfortably riding is definitely not the same as just fitting. I really appreciate this.

I'm 6'5" and have a Ninja 650. I'm convinced I must look like a bear on a tricycle. Dang it lmao

hey yammie. for the past 5 years i’ve been itching and waiting to get on a bike. i recently graduated and it was just the break i needed to start this hobby. i’ve been doing research, studying, youtube watching, reddit surfing. everything and anything under the sun the rossi put into the sky for us to learn as much as i can. as of today july 3rd i just got my motorcycle temps and most of your videos really pushed me over into getting to my first step to swing a leg. I’m about to start a full time job and save up for a bike for next riding season. thank you so much yammie!!

I'm 6'5" and when I was trying them on at the dealerships I found the Versys, V-Strom, XSR700, and Z900RS very comfy, though some of those are a bit too much for a first bike IMO. In general, the ADV bikes and neo-retros seem good to go.

7:50 - I fully expected the V-strom 650. I just bought this as a 6'6'' Noob, and am in Heaven with it.

In regards to the g310 gs for tall riders: not recommended. Seat height is talked about a lot, and it's pretty much irrelevant as far as riding comfort is concerned. The GS has a very short seat to footpeg distance. Not sure why people get wrapped up in seat height measured from the ground.

I'm 6'3 and the MT-07 is quite comfortable, just needs a comfort seat to actually make it better for longer rides.

I absolutely love the content you create, I just started getting into motorcycles after seeing my father ride for 3 years and I love every aspect of it. You guys make me feel so comfortable in any direction I choose, as a 6'5 rider it's difficult to figure out what works best for me, but with your videos and your help, I feel a tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders ever clip I watch, please please never stop making content. I hope you can aspire new riders like you did with me.

I’m 6’6” and had a 2004 r6 for about 7 years for my starter bike. Not the best idea but i was 22 and it was cheap. I was fairly comfortable on it but definitely couldn’t tuck into it without practically sitting on the rear seat.

6'8" the versys x300 is perfect. I don't think I'll ever get rid of her. 😊

I’m 6’8” and I ride a ninja 650. Sat on the new ninja 1000 and it definitely fits me better. Even though I look like a grasshopper on the 650, I love it.
