For me it's a ketogenic 'lifestyle' and not a 'diet'. I've lost 113 lbs, my A1C is normal, my blood pressure is great and I feel fantastic. For my health, it has been nothing short of an amazing journey.

Green veggies are NOT out of a keto diet by any means. I count fiber as zero carbs.

This person is not educated in basic metabolism principles. She does not know that saturated fats are burned by the body when insulin is low enough like it is on a Ketogenic diet when carbohydrate intake per day is 20 grams or less.


It is simple and fundamental principle that we're talking about here. When in a Ketogenic state, the body burns those mentionned "bad fats" which by the way are not bad. They are actually healthy but have been demonized when fats and the accompanying cholesterol were incorrectly picked as the cause of health issues.

I struggled with the keto diet too much, I just felt exhausted. We are supposed to enjoy the food we eat and with the keto diet that's close to impossible. That's why I tried the Agoge diet and it works great.

She's wrong. The American Diabetes Association even recommends it for diabetes treatment and Virta health (search them on YouTube) is a clinical model that uses it to get amazing results.

Completely misleading advise. You are outdated or biased. You really need to update your knowledge with the latest research on nutrition. Keto ‘diet’ is not a diet it is a ‘lifestyle’ and weight-loss is only one of the myriad benefits of it. This is the only science and evidence based diet. It improves your overall health including cardiovascular health, brain health, reverse diabetes, metabolic health and autoimmune decease among others. The list goes on and on. And saturated fats are actually the healthiest fats and polyunsaturated are the worst. Saturated fats have beef demonized and taken blame for smoking. So instead of misguiding people and your patients you should go research and try keto yourself for 2-6 months before making an opinion.
Anybody watching this video please educate yourself before making up your mind. I have been on keto for one year and never felt better. So go learn.

Refined unsaturated and saturated fats, so called heart healthy oils are bad for health.

If you want to lose fat, I suggest the Agoge diet. I lost lots of fat and felt great all the way.

Keto is not worth it imho. It is risky and tough to adhere to. I recommend the *Agoge diet* because it's personalized and diverse and most importantly worked great for me.

Can be healthy if you eat avocado, walnuts, nuts.... I as a dancers, i suffer without carbs... But i manage...
