I'm going to start this diet in the next week or so. I've followed the 5:2 in the past with time restricted eating so feel that it will be manageable. I have a question: Do you eat any carbs, other than what is in fruit, vegetables and legumes? I was wondering if it would be ok to have either a small bowl of porridge or a slice of wholegrain toast for breakfast. Dr Moseley doesn't specify an amount of carbohydrate in grams per day, but I wondered if I kept below say 50-80g if I would still lose the weight. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
