Awe, well too bad you didn't know me in LA! I'm similar. I like to stay home a lot, but I do occasionally go venture off in to the social world. I actually feel the most productive and successful when I'm doing my own thing and staying out of social settings... As for people, there are some whom are great! You just have to find them. Other than that, I can really relate to you with the weight gain. After moving to LA I became very lost and gained about 20-30lbs from depression... but then in the last year or so I've switched my mentality and lost the weight! You can do this! It's all in your mindset!
