My daughter lives in Malibu Canyon/Calabasas - evacuated last night.

I am so thankful she’s safe. Losing your home to any natural disaster is traumatic. Sending prayers to all affected.

No home should be built without a cistern being built and filled with water first. That’s what they do in the Caribbean. That should be mandatory all around the western USA where water is at a premium. No more construction permits until cisterns are built
