Hi guys!

So finally, after 4 months of moving out of LA I am opening up about why I no longer wanted to live there after 6 years. Definitely a bittersweet goodbye but I am excited for a new chapter in my life!

I couldn't agree with you more! This very much why I moved back to New Jersey. I am not a city person at all and for me the people were so so different on the west coast compared to the east coast. I also missed my family and did not like being so far away. But most importantly I missed the seasons. If you haven't experienced that, just wait to see how much more festive the holidays feel! I am happy for you and I am glad you found a place that seems to align more with you!

dude im just really happy that i'm not the only one that lived in california from 2014-2019, i feel like im going to settle down in Arizona, and buy my own land, working remote from home. The only people that live in LA are the young and the rich. Im not young anymore and I'm not rich lmao.

You know what’s interesting about how influencers try to fit into what they think is an LA girl, is that people who are actually from LA don’t act that way. So they end up sticking out and unfortunately it’s a stereotype they perpetuate.

The Vast majority of Mexicans from LA and Southern Cali are more americanized having bee there for genarations some over a century at this point. Mexicans living in the South and East Coast are fairly recent arrivals, like starting in the late 90's. Nashville's Mexican community is relatively new and made up mostly of first generation immigrants and their kids. Any good business man would stock up on more authentic mexican foods to sell, and opening grocery stores is a big thing for new immigrants here to America and they tend to order things they eat. Here in the NYC area Puerto Ricans owned most of the corner grocery stores or "bodegas" for years then they passed em on to Dominicans, now Arabs and Mexicans are buying em up. For comparison there is a pretty big Arab community in Southern Cali too but there is a higher chance you will find more middle eastern products here in NYC tri state because the Arabs in LA have been there for decades and are thus more americanized as opposed to the Arabs here that have just arrived. Sorry for the long paragraph but thats my take.
